We are raising funds for Our Spot KC’s “Share the Table” program, a community-powered partnership.
The funds go back into the various programs under Our Spot KC. The primary recipient of these funds will be the Lion House Program, which focuses on safe, affirming housing and services. This is one of their largest community impact areas, and focuses on transitional housing, case management, mental health support, and basic needs assistance, among other supports. Our Spot KC is a really helpful organization that does so much for the LGBTQ+ community!

Hawthorn is an LGBTQ+ and woman owned business! We wish to use our position as local business owners to give back to our community. We are proud to support organizations like Our Spot KC because their work directly strengthens and protects vulnerable members of our local community!
We frequently tell people we wouldn’t be here without each one of you, our wonderful clients. This is one of the many ways we give back! In today’s uncertain world, we want to help in every way we can.
Supporting Our Place KC aligns with our belief that community care extends far beyond the services we provide in the studio.

Olivia Scott
(unfreakish)
Olivia (she/they) is offering a free ½ day tattoo session, as well as $100 in credit towards merch and art.
She has been tattooing since 2021, as well as a member of EcoTattooing and the Alliance of Professional Tattooists. Her work shows a passion for nature, surrealism, as well as folk horror themes. Silly little guys, botanicals, and surreal eco-horror nightmare fuel pieces are her jam.
Jamie Cain
(jamiextattoo)
Jamie (she/her) is offering a free ½ day tattoo session.
She started tattooing in Kansas in 2024, after moving here from Texas, where her career began in 2020. She is a member of EcoTattooing, and the Alliance of Professional Tattooists. With a focus on petite, delicate, and elegant designs, her love for detail shines. Anything jewelry, antique, trinket-like, or just adorable, will get her so excited.
Kat & Jo Coyne
(Tempest Piercing)
Kat (she/her) and Jo (she/they) are offering $600 in credit towards jewelry and piercing fees.
They have been piercing in the Overland Park area for years. Both are members of the Association of Professional Piercers, and take client safety and experience very seriously. They are colloquially known as “the piercing whisperers.”
